In simple words, a Knowledge Management System describes an IT based system for managing knowledge in companies. Knowledge management consists of an array of techniques and methods employed in a company to find, create, represent, distribute, and allow adoption of insights and experiences. Knowledge management is a term commonly used in organizations doing work in the area where knowledge is a key element. Knowledge management initiatives usually pay attention to organizational objectives for example increased performance, competitive advantage, innovation, integration and steady advancement of the organisation. Match Maker Associates (MMA) is a consulting organization operating resilient on the Tanzanian market, and cooperating with different consulting companies around the globe. MMA’s goal is to speed up and work better when it comes to knowledge use. The issue at MMA is the absence ofproper filling system and Knowledge Management System (KMS).
