Next Generation Networks services: IP Routing

In this project report we will talk about next generation networks services based upon IP Routing. As the industry for high-speed internet and mobile communication services attains maturity, communication services have indicated a limit to growth depending on the volume of customers. Next Generation Networks services make up the start of a brand new age of innovative and cost-effective services where customers will experience significant new service offerings as well as cost savings in their usage bills for these kinds of services. These applications challenge the constraints of the network technologies which are available nowadays. Next Generation Networks are dependent on internet technologies which includes Internet Protocol (IP) and Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS). In this report, we present an introduction to the converged Internet protocol Network services, concentrating on opportunities for service differentiation and presenting current service oriented technology to fulfill the requirements of customers. These technologies enable companies to develop and run networks that can offer local, long distance, global, mobile, data, voice and internet services to people. To meet the demands of these modern services with high Quality of Service (QoS), Speed, Traffic Engineering and Scalability, ISPs have employed Next Generation Networks making use of the more reliable Multi-Protocol Label Switching at the heart of networks as well as providing such services via a safe means over the public internet by using Virtual Private Networks.
