The main goal of this thesis is to investigate the feasibility of a quadrature radio frequency receiver front-end using a second-order sampling topology in CMOS. Second-order sampling combines subsampling with a non-uniform sampling scheme. This non-uniform sampling scheme comprises of two uniform sampling streams with a small time delay between both streams, which allows the generation of an I and Q channel.
The number of Bluetooth equipped devices has increased tremendously over the last couple of years and many new products using Bluetooth are expected to be launched on the market. Bluetooth is a low cost, low power, short range radio technology, developed as
As today there is no doubt that a wireless revolution has arrived. As internet communication is growing stronger, more suitable and advanced techniques are used to integrate offices and home based networks to this new standard. A still somewhat sleeping and awaiting
The report describes techniques, methods and development tools used during the project. The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the usefulness with a new Bluetooth profile called Medical Device Profile (MDP). The application will handle the Bluetooth connection between the smartphone
We are living in the information era, people are getting more mobile and the technology is constantly advancing. Technologies that were once static in location are now becoming mobile and constantly changing position. Information that never changed before must now be dynamic
