Rural-Urban Migration in Babati District, Tanzania

In today’s world people have a tendency to relocate to urban areas. and 49 % on the planet population lived in urban areas in 2005, the urban population is likely to be 60 % of the global population in the year 2030. Most of the increase of urban residents is predicted to take place in urban areas of less developed regions. Despite the fact that research in developing countries repeatedly reveal that livelihood options in these urban areas are far from many, the urban population increases to grow. Men and women that go to the urban area with desire of superior life opportunities find themselves having a tough time finding somewhere to live. Usually, rural-urban migrates have to settle down in shantytowns away from actual city. This leads to the fact that there are numerous people coping with poor surroundings without any kind of security, fresh water, waste systems or health services…
