An inventory control system is an integrated package of software and hardware used in warehouse operations, and elsewhere, to monitor the quantity, location and status of inventory as well as the related shipping, receiving, picking and putaway processes In common usage, the term may also refer to just the software components.
The zip file of (Java Inventory Management System project) includes the Java source code, class files, images, .bat, .mdb and readme.txt files.
Instruction Before Running
Directory
step 1 : make directory “Naparansoft Inventory” in c:
step 2 : copy all the files in this directory to c:\Naparansoft Inventory directory
c:\Autoexec.bat
-Assummming that u have installed jdk in c:\jdk1.4.1 directory
-Add these lines in c:\Autoexec.bat – Restart your Computer to take effect)
step 3 : SET PATH=c:\jdk1.4.1\bin
ODBC Settings
step 4 : click control panel
step 5 : ODBC Data Sources
step 6 : click UserDSN Tab
step 7 : click ADD Button , Select Microsoft Access Driver , Finish
step 11 : Give Datasource Name as “NaparansoftInventory”
step 12 : Click Select button and select MasterFile.mdb from “c:\Naparansoft Inventory\MasterFile.mdb” click ok and click ok finish
Run
step 13 : Execute the “Naparansoft Inventory.bat” located in “c:\Naparansoft Inventory”
